Change for Haiti Ended Today

The Change for Haiti campaign ended today! Thanks to your generosity, Gilbert Gators raised $1445.00 for the American Red Cross. This money from our school will be combined with the money collected from all Walker County Schools. It will go to help children in reuniting with their families! We are so proud of everyone for caring enough to help CHANGE the lives of the children of Haiti!

Change for Haiti Update

I have been truly amazed at the generosity of the students at Gilbert Elementary School. Thanks to their kind hearts and generous spirits we have raised just under $800 for the American Red Cross!

Last week, I witnessed a student bring in his piggy bank and donate all the coins he had saved. Several students donated part of their birthday money. Others have given up ice cream to donate money to the cause. Children have such big and caring hearts!

Current Standings:

1st Place
Mrs. Scott's 3rd Grade Class

2nd Place
Mrs. Robertson's 5th Grade Class
