Friday, Friday, Friday!

Friday is a very busy day at Gilbert Elementary!

Friday is BISCUIT day @ Gilbert. Staff members will be selling chicken, sausage, and butter biscuits at the gym doors to car riders and their parents. Triangle Park is providing the biscuits! Proceeds from the biscuit sale go towards the purchase of playground gear. We want to purchase playground balls, basketballs, soccer balls, jump ropes, etc. for our students to enjoy during recess.

During lunch, our 5th graders will be having a bake and candy sale. Students will be allowed to make purchases after eating lunch. Baked goods and drinks are $0.50 each. Baked goods include brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, danishes, and Little Debbie snack cakes. Candy bars are $1 each. You may choose milk chocolate, chocolate with almond, or caramel candy bars. Proceeds from these sales go towards Camp River Ridge.

What's Camp River Ridge? Camp River Ridge is a Gilbert tradition spanning 15 years. 5th graders travel by bus to the camp located in Ten Mile, Tennessee. They participate in many outdoor activities including team-building exercises, candle making, and canoeing during their three-day, two-night stay. It's a great opportunity for our Gilbert students!
