SALTS Trivia Question

Congratulations to Ricky Shrader, Nick Blaylock, and J.C. Cole! They answered the SALTS trivia question correctly. They will appear on Wednesday's morning news program to get their prize!

Last Friday, four area schools met as in-county rivals for a football scrimmage. Trion and Chattooga played for the first time since 1971. Trion was the winner in the match. LaFayette and Gordon Lee also played a scrimmage game. LaFayette received the win.

Walker County School's motto for this school year is "Begin with the end in mind." To that end, principals and teachers wore their caps and gowns on the first day of school. The purpose being to create a curiousity in students about completing high school and wearing their own cap and gown.

Mr. Hayes challenged students to find a faculty or staff member from Gilbert that graduated from each of the four schools: LaFayette, Gordon Lee, Trion, and Chattooga.

Students be sure to submit your answers to the SALTS can in the lobby. Winners will be announced on Friday's morning news.
