The Gilbert Elementary PTO would like to thank everyone for their support and hard work with the annual Family Fun Night. Even though the weather and the economy weren't very good, FFN was still a hit. You have helped to raise $3000 for the school. Remember these funds are used to help with items in the classrooms, teacher appreciations, Champs, and ultimately the equipment on the playground. Our goal is to improve at least one thing on the playground each year. With some of the money raised FFN, PTO will sponsor one student per 5th grade classroom for the trip to Camp River Ridge this week. In an interesting twist, Mr. Hayes also ended up kissing the pig! Mr. Lemons and Miss Higdon agreed to both kiss the pig if teachers would donate money to see Mr. Hayes do the same! We raised over $125 in just a few minutes! So all three good sports kissed Bama, the pig.
