Happy 100th Day!
Students and teachers at Gilbert celebrated the 100th day of school on Tuesday, January 26th. We had lots of fun learning about and exploring the number 100! We jumped 100 times, walked 100 steps, made 100th day snack mix, made 100th day glasses and hats, graphed 100 things, and much, much more!
Our kindergarten classes set a goal upon returning to school after the Christmas holidays. Their goal was for each class to collect 100 canned goods in order to help local food banks. Miss Morgan announced on Tuesday morning that they exceeded their goal! They brought in 528 food items! What generous hearts our kindergartners have!
