PTO Information


Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to Gilbert Elementary School or welcome back for a new and exciting year. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hopes you will be active in the Gilbert School Community. We encourage you to become involved in as many activities as possible. There are always PTO jobs that need volunteers.

The PTO provides funding to teachers for activities and items that the classes might need. As we know, raising money is what allows the PTO to provide activities and items that enrich our students' learning. We have planned a number of fundraisers, such as Family Fun Night and a Santa Shop, to help fund our budget.

Our first PTO meeting is on Tuesday, August 31 beginning at 6:00 p.m. We hope you will make plans to attend this meeting and join our PTO.  Representatives from the Boy and Girl Scouts organizations will be on hand. There will be a "back to school" slide show including photos taken by teachers throughout the first two weeks of school.
