Whew!

 

Thank you students and staff for a great CRCT week! 

We know you were able to "show what you know" and rock that test! Thank you for doing your best! It's hard to believe this school year is almost over. We have 24 school days left! Let's make the best of that time!

The last month of school is always busy. Be sure to check the list of dates on the right-hand side of this page. We don't want you to miss anything!

 

April 30 - May 4, 2012

CRCT Make-ups: If you were late or missed any part of testing, please be at school on Monday for your make-up session.

1st & 2nd Grades will be taking benchmark tests this week.

It's National Physical Education and Sports Month! Get active! Go outside and play for at least 60 minutes each day!

Tuesday, May 1 - Third graders will attend AG Day. We will travel to the Agriculture Center behind the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring. Students will learn about agriculture in Walker County.

Wednesday, May 2 - Movie Matinee Day (Parents' Day Out) - We'll be showing the newest Muppet Movie. Please make plans to stay and enjoy a movie & snacks with your friends. Students will be dismissed from the gym at 4:30 p.m.

Friday, May 4 - Book Fair Preview Day - Next week, Mrs. Massey will host a Scholastic Book Fair at Gilbert Elementary. It will start on Monday. However, we will get a sneak peek on Friday to make our wish lists! :)

FCA for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will meet on Friday!

Progress reports will be issued. Be sure to ask your student for his or her report.
