We are happy to announce our annual Gilbert Elementary Grandparents' Day on September 19th. We hope you will join your grandchild/children for a fun-filled morning.
You will start your morning with a visit to your grandchild's classroom where you will sign in and visit his or her teacher and classroom.
Following the classroom visit, you will visit the gym for light refreshments. It is at this time, you'll have portraits made if you choose. Portraits will be made outside.
Next, you can visit our Book Fair. Mrs. Massey, our media specialist, has arranged to have a special book fair during our Grandparents' Day celebration. There will be a large selection of books available for purchase. You can share the love of reading with your grandchild and help our school at the same time.
Due to the overwhelming response we have had to this event in the past, we are scheduling different start times for grandparents by grade levels. If you have more than one grandchild, please plan on stopping by the office so we can call for all your grandchildren to meet you.
Please remember students will not be allowed to check out of school. They will be counted absent if they leave school prior to 11:00 a.m.
All events will begin with the classroom visit and sign in.

10:00 - Snacks in the Gym, Portraits, and Book Fair
