A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the men and women who have proudly served our country!
Today at Gilbert Elementary, we hosted our annual Veteran's Day event! Thank you to Mr. Roger Campbell, 5th grade teacher and a serviceman himself, for putting together a wonderful event that has become a tradition! Students entered the gym with flags in hand to show our Veterans that we love and appreciate their service and sacrifice. Mr. Campbell created a slideshow of the Veterans of our Gilbert families. Gilbert Veterans and their family members adjourned to the cafeteria for refreshments and fellowship. Thank you to all who attended.
