We love our GRANDPARENTS!
We are happy to announce that we will have our annual Grandparents' Day on Wednesday, October 23. We hope you will join your grandchild (children) for a fun-filled morning.
You will start your visit in your grandchild's classroom where you will sign in and meet his/her teacher and visit the classroom.
Following the classroom visit you will join your grandchild in the gym for snacks and juice. Pictures will be taken at this time, if you chose this option. Forms were sent home last week. They were due back on Monday.
Next, you can stop by our Book Fair. We have arranged to have a special book fair during our Grandparents' Day celebration. There will be a large selection of books available for purchase. You can share the love of reading with your grandchild as well as help our school earn books for our Media Center.
Due to the overwhelming response we have had to this event in the past, we are scheduling different start times for Grandparents by grade levels. If you have more than one grandchild at Gilbert, please plan on stopping by the office so we can arrange for all your grandchildren to be with you for this event.
Student are not allowed to checkout of school. If your child leaves, he or she will be counted absent.
Please remember, you will begin with a classroom visit. If you need directions, please stop by the office.
