Don't
miss the Reindeer Run on Saturday, December 7th! Many teachers from
Gilbert will be participating in the race! Come out and cheer them on!
The Shop with a Cop Program provides funds to over 35 needy children ages Pre-K-5th grade. These children get the opportunity to shop for Christmas presents at our local Wal-Mart. The goal of the Shop with a Cop Program is that all local needy children will get a present for Christmas. In the past the program has often ran out of funds before all needy children could receive Christmas gifts.
If you're looking for something else to do, be sure to check out the Christmas model train and village! The City of LaFayette will continue the tradition of hosting a large scale Lionel model train and village
inside Chattooga Academy/Gordon Hall. The “O” Scale model train and
village is presented by the owner of the model train, volunteer Ronald
Underwood. This will be a free show for the entire family. The
model train and village will be available for viewing on Friday,
December 6th from 6pm-9pm, Saturday, December 7th from 8am-11am and
6pm-9pm. It will also be available for viewing on Sunday December 8th,
