Testing Tips for Students

Gilbert's Honor Society met on St. Patrick's Day to discuss ways we can help our school with CRCT testing. Students made posters of tips and encouragement. They worked cooperatively to video some last minute reminders about testing.

Honor Society students are fourth and fifth grade students who earn and maintain A averages across the curriculum and on report cards. They are chosen as members of the group based on making good grades and demonstrating to the teachers and principal of the school how responsible they are at school, at home, and in the community. Let’s face it. We all like to be congratulated for our hard work and accomplishments, and NEHS provides that opportunity for you. The Honor Society usually meets once per month and students participate in service projects throughout the school year.

Students in third grade will be considered for membership based on the grades earned on the year-end report card. Fourth and fifth graders who are not currently members will also be considered using these year-end grades. Invitations for membership will be issued when school resumes in August.
